The Data Double

Exploring the digital breadcrumbs we leave behind in our everyday lives, and the pictures they paint of us when combined, as part of Signal Noise's Private-I exhibition in 2015.

Data Visualisation
The digital devices we use are constantly collecting information about us. Whether it's our location, the websites we've visited or which brand of cheese we usually buy, these digital footprints we leave behind are all valuable to someone. If we combine all the information collected, what can our data double tell us, and the anonymous third parties we agree to share it with, about ourselves?
